The Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center (WyGISC) at the University of Wyoming is looking for a full-time, temporary Geographic Information System (GIS) technician to assist with geospatial data creation. This work will be done as part of the Wyoming Density and Disturbance Calculation Tool (DDCT) anthropogenic disturbance and Statewide Power Transmission line mapping efforts. The successful candidate will spend a considerable amount of time using aerial imagery, in addition to other geospatial information in GIS software to map and attribute existing features, creating a robust spatial database.
