Desired qualifications:

  • Minimum BS degree in the wetland science, watershed science, water resources, biological sciences, environmental science or related field
  • 1-2 years wetland delineation field experience or wetland delineation certification training
  • Experience with identifying Rocky Mountain flora
  • Stream geomorphology training and classification skills
  • Experience using water quality sampling equipment and meters
  • Experience with Global Position Systems (GPS), ArcPad and ArcMap mapping software
  • Experience using GPS and Total Station survey equipment
  • Experience with technical report writing and data management
  • Experience with preparing regulatory permit applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as collaborate with the team
  • Sense of humor and the ability to have fun
