Duties: Serve as a natural resource specialist in the Eastern Colorado Area Office (ECAO), and is responsible for conducting National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) analyses and documentation for a variety of water and land-related projects. Advise ECAO management on NEPA procedural and related issues, and on compliance, and other environmental laws and policies. Coordinate with Reclamation, other federal and non-federal agencies, private entities, and the public to assure compliance with environmental laws. Represent ECAO in interagency and intra-agency activities and meetings. Plan and implement environmental studies related to recreation, wetland, fish and wildlife, and water quality initiatives and environmental compliance activities.
Desired qualifications: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Biological Sciences, Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Chemistry, or related Biological Science disciplines appropriate to the position.
Salary/pay: $37,742.00 to $82,798.00
