Duties: The Meridian Institute Fellowship provides the next generation of public policy leaders the skills they need to encourage collaboration on complex and controversial public policy problems. The Fellowship is a two-year, full-time Project Assistant position and selected Fellows will begin work in summer 2017.
Fellows provide research, writing, and administrative support to projects on a variety of substantive topic areas. Past Fellows have worked on global and domestic agriculture and food security, climate change, ocean policy, forest and land use management, freshwater resources, and community and global resilience, among other topics.
Desired qualifications: Attention to detail. Strong written and communication skills. Experience and enthusiasm for effectively working as part of a team with people from culturally diverse backgrounds. Must have Bachelor’s degree.
Salary: First year Fellows are offered a minimum salary of $34,000 per year in a non-exempt position. An excellent benefits package is included.
