Duties: Duties include research, teaching and service. The successful candidate is expected to establish and maintain a highly visible, productive, collaborative, and externally funded research program, and disseminate research outcomes to the scientific community and the general public. The candidate will work with other members of the Laboratory of Tree-ring Research, and with collaborating faculty, researchers, and students from around UA and other institutions, to advance the UA position as an international leader in the Earth and Environmental Sciences. The appointee is expected to contribute to the departmental and university-wide teaching and mentoring endeavors, enthusiastically engage students and the broader communities, and perform university service.

Desired qualifications: PhD in applicable field of research expertise.
