Duties: The successful candidate will teach an undergraduate/graduate course in weed science, undergraduate courses on crop production, and a graduate course on research methods. The incumbent will take leadership in developing the sustainable production curriculum in an interdepartmental program. Additional responsibilities include advising student groups and recruitment of undergraduates in agronomic and related disciplines.
Desired qualifications: Ph.D. in soils, agronomy, weed science, applied biology, or closely related discipline. Experience in production agronomy is desirable. Willingness to work closely with others and recruit students is required. Some travel is required. Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
