Duties: This field school will provide training in ethnographic fieldwork and include documentation of the traditions of owners, workers, and guests of the historic Triangle X Guest Ranch (trianglex.com). It is an intensive, two-week, residential workshop designed to provide participants with basic ethnographic fieldwork skills, including participant observation, interviewing, the writing of field notes, ethics, and archiving best practices.

Start and end dates: July 30-August 12, 2017; another week of work will be required to process materials and write reports.
