Position Title: Park Ranger

Organization: Albeni Falls Dam

Location: Oldtown, ID

Position Overview: Serves as a Park Ranger assisting the ranger staff with the routine day-to-day duties required to operate and maintain the recreational and natural resource facilities located at Albeni Falls Dam.

Duties:

• Perform duties involving a variety of visitor-oriented tasks to encourage the proper use and enjoyment of the park facilities.
• Escorts visitors on routine tours of the facility.
• Performs receptionist duties at the information desk in the Visitor Center.
• Provides assistance to the public by answering general questions about the parks.
• Assists in maintaining record of supplies needed in recreation site(s).
• Assists higher graded Park Rangers in the development, presentation, and maintenance of interpretive programs.

Salary/Pay: $34,803 – $43,590 per year
