Position Title: Harmful Cyanobacteria Blooms Tech

Location: Cheyenne, WY

Position Overview: Express Employment is searching for a Harmful Cyanobacteria Blooms Tech to assist with a seasonal project. This position requires experience with research.

Duties:

• Review satellite imagery to detect the presence of blooms
• Collect cyanobacteria and cyanotoxin samples
• Identify cyanobacteria in water samples
• Evaluate and manage water quality data
• Assist with surface water quality standards development
• Compile and organize files

Qualifications:

• Possess or be working towards a bachelor’s degree in the sciences
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in wet, cold, and muddy conditions in order to collect samples
• Experience with GIS is preferred

Start/End Dates: May 15, 2024

Salary/Pay: $18 per hour
