Position Title: Surface Water Monitor

Organization: Express Employment Professionals

Location: Cheyenne, WY

Position Overview:  Express Employment is searching for a Surface Water Monitor to assist with a seasonal project. This position requires experience with field data collection and data management.

Duties:

• Assist with field season preparation, including review of maps and geographic information
• Assist with measuring chemical, biological, and physical properties of streams and lakes
• Compile and organize files
• Complete data calculations

Qualifications:

• Possess or be working towards a bachelor’s degree in the sciences
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Passion for the outdoors and availability for overnight travel
• Lab experience or water testing experience is preferred

Start/End Dates: May 15, 2024

Salary/Pay: $18 per hour
