Position Title: R Workshop Instructors
Organization: R Ladies at the University of Wyoming
Location: Laramie, WY
Position Overview: R Ladies is looking for students, post-docs, or staff to lead 2 more R coding workshops this semester. Instructors will be compensated for their time. It’s a great opportunity to be more involved in the R coding community on campus (and a lot of fun!). The workshops will be open to the general UWyo community (students & staff across departments of any gender, usually about 10-30 attendees).
Duties: Potential instructors can suggest their own workshop topic or think of topics that fall under categories selected by the R Ladies group: general data wrangling, advanced intro to R (function writing, loops, etc.), visualization, and spatial data analysis.
Qualifications: Instructors do not need to be R whizzes or experts! The only requirement is to have some working knowledge of a tool/technique/analysis in R and being willing to share it.
Start/End Dates: Workshop dates are to be determined by instructor schedules and will probably be scheduled for March or April.
