Position Title: Watersports Rental Technician
Organization: SUPerior Paddlesports
I started Superior Paddlesports as a solo entrepreneur with no outside funding, and I’m self taught in all aspects of business. My company was profitable in year one and has grown every season since. I intentionally kept my costs low in order to grow organically and within my means. Location: Jackson, WY
Position Overview: Watersports Rental Technicians are the face of Superior Paddlesports. Our technicians interact with customers daily by delivering equipment rentals to their accommodations, providing support, and picking up gear at the end of their rental period. We empower our technicians to build confident decision making, accountability and professional skills in the workplace. Duties:
- Delivery: Completing scheduled and reactive watersports rentals while focusing on our three Key Customer Requirements:
- KCR #1: On Time – Arriving within 5 minutes of the agreed upon time.
- KCR #2: Communication – Setting clear expectations around the entire scope of service.
- KCR #3: Equipment – Choosing the right equipment for each guest given their skills and desires.
- Support: Provide equipment support to our guests on the phone or in person.
- Pickup: All scheduled returns are collected, cleaned, checked for punctures/leaks, and prepared for the next shift/day.
- Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels.
- Packing orders for future deliveries.
- Setting up the next shift and future team members for success.
- Maintain our perfect 5-Star Google rating.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Basic inflatable SUP & Kayak equipment knowledge, maintenance, and repair.
- Making/Answering customer phone calls with a positive and inviting tone of voice.
- Restocking delivery vehicles with extra equipment.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and properly load a truck rack
- Quick thinking and troubleshooting
- Maintaining efficiency during long shift hours

Start/End Dates: June 9 – Sept 1 (flexible)
Salary/Pay:
- $21/hr + tips
- Unlimited personal use of equipment
- Access to pro-deals / accounts
- Autonomous work environment
- Part time employment at ~24 hours per week. 2 consistent weekly shifts at ~12 hours per shift. Flexibility to pickup shifts if demand exists.
