Position Title: Visiting Assistant Professor of Environmental Science
Organization: The Environmental Science Program of Claremont McKenna, Pitzer, and Scripps Colleges
Position Overview: The Environmental Science Program of Claremont McKenna, Pitzer, and Scripps Colleges seeks to hire a visiting professor to begin August 2021. The successful candidate will teach in the Introduction to Environmental Science lecture and lab sequence in each of the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters, together with an upper division course in their area of specialty. There are opportunities to direct undergraduate research projects. This position is full-time and is a one-year appointment. Rank will be either Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Professor, depending on experience. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental or Earth sciences) and prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
