Position Title: Sagebrush Communications Specialist

Position Overview:

Partnering to Conserve Sagebrush Rangelands has been prolific in communicating about sagebrush conservation, dynamic partnerships, and lasting collaboration successes since Hannah Nikonow began building the Sagebrush Communications Specialist position in 2016. We are pleased to announce that Hannah is now advancing to serve as the Intermountain West Joint Venture’s Communications and Marketing Coordinator. We are excited to fill sagebrush communications capacity behind Hannah and grow the IWJV’s communications program to new heights!

We are seeking proposals from those with excellent skills in communications, as well as experience with cultivating relationships with a broad and diverse range of people and/or organizations to craft stories about conservation impact. Those well suited for this role include individuals with a passion for conservation and natural resources. Candidates will also have demonstrated capabilities in designing and delivering communications and story-telling tools such as social media, eNewsletters, news posts, fact sheets, feature stories, storymaps, and presentations.

Salary/pay: Compensation will be $20 per hour, plus benefits that include a monthly healthcare stipend, access to a Simple IRA with up to 3% employer match, 15 days of PTO (to start) and 11 paid holidays.
