Timberline Hospitalities is searching for an experienced leader to join in our mission to put our Friends first! We are currently searching for a hands-on and self-driven General Manager to lead our Holiday Inn Laramie and join the Timberline Hospitalities family. 

This is a highly empowered position that requires high energy and the ability to motivate, cultivate and mentor the team into becoming a high-performing group devoted to achieving the highest standards of guest satisfaction and exceptional service. The candidate must buy-in to the Timberline core values of caring about others, creating outstanding guest experiences, and creating a profitable hotel in a fun, unique, second, and urgent approach. Timberline will provide the resources and the candidate will command leadership, provide inspiration, and achieve results.


The General Manager has overall responsibility for the successful operation of the 100-guest room and suite hotel, banquet and meeting facilities, the 7220 Lounge, and for meeting or exceeding its financial objectives. The GM is the director for the total operation of the hotel with focus on:

  • Achieves the mission daily by “Making Friends One Guest at a Time”; refers to our internal and external guests as friends
  • Establishes and delivers on the Timberline Way Culture
  • Hands-on leadership of team, including active participation in community relations
  • Drives internal friends’ experience- meets or exceeds their satisfaction
  • Drives external friends’ experience- meets or exceeds guest satisfaction experience and brand benchmarks
  • Creates and implements a cohesive Hotel Revenue & Sales Plan including: P&L, Sales, Marketing, Promotions, Revenue Management, Ecommerce and Online Reputation Management
  • Drives RevPAR, RevPAR index and Revenue per guest
  • Drives GOPPAR, Flow/Flex and NOI per room


  • 4- year college degree in Hotel Management, Accounting/Finance, Business or equivalent experience
  • Proven record as a successful leader and effective communicator
  • Ideal candidate must have at least 2-4 years of hotel operations experience
  • Brand experience highly desired
  • Hotel food, beverage and sales knowledge preferred
