Duties: Assisting the garden manager with planning, planting, tending and harvesting the Worland Community Garden; helping with educational programs; and networking with local organizations to identify community food needs. This is an ideal opportunity for a student with interest in community or commercial horticulture, education, or extension. College credit is also available, and the opportunity for a horticulture research project.

Desired qualifications: This position requires physical labor and an ability to communicate in English. You must be able to work long hours in the heat, lift 50 pounds, and be willing to get your hands dirty.
