Position Title: AmeriCorps VISTA Position

Organization Overview: LRH has been breaking down the barriers to accessing quality affordable healthcare since 1971. They are dedicated to providing members of the community the reproductive and sexual healthcare they deserve at a price they can afford, putting them in a position to lead a healthier life. This is a full time, 365 day position. 

Position Overview: In this position, you will work with LRH staff to update and implement sustainable operational policies, recruit and manage volunteers, and increase LRH’s online presence. You will also create and distribute various outreach materials to the community to increase awareness of services. You will work to build capacity within LRH and all its programs while gaining National Service experience and developing professional skills such as fundraising, marketing, advertising, community outreach, program development and management, and event coordination.

Salary/pay: Biweekly allowance of $513.94, and choice of end of service education award ($6,345) or a cash stipend ($1,800)
