Organization: Grow Our Own 307

Organization Overview: Grow Our Own 307 is bringing back food sovereignty through gardening on the Wind River Reservation. The goal is to connect people to gardening, cultivate medicinal and traditional plants, and share knowledge of medicinal food properties.

Position Overview: In this position, you will work to create systems to help combat food scarcity and health disparities, and promote wellness in the community. The work will include designing flyers and promotional materials, taking pictures of ongoing projects, creating databases and inventories to allow easy access to information, and work to build garden boxes when needed. This is an opportunity to build professional skills while supporting community members towards their transition to food independence.

Salary/pay: Biweekly allowance of $513.94, and choice of end of service education award ($6,345) or a cash stipend ($1,800)
