Position Title: Summer Student Employee

Organization: Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources, University of Wyoming 

Position Description:The Haub School is searching for a part time summer student employee to help us with New Student Orientation and other recruitment efforts – a more detailed list of duties can be found below. The position will be remote/virtual, with the possibility to transition to in-person reception at the end of summer – if the University fully re-opens, and if the student is able/interested. Hours start at 10 perweek, with the possibility for more, and the possibility to continue with Haub School employment during the Academic Year. Summer hours can be somewhat flexible. Students cannot be already employed on campus during summer.

Duties:

Recruitment Support – speaking about Haub School programs and experiences to incoming and prospective students and parents.

• UW New Student Orientation (zoom College Connect sessions)
• Prospective Student Visits (zoom)

 Other Duties – may include:

• Remote reception (answering the Haub School mainline phone from home)
• Email management and correspondence
• Other project support as needed

Salary: $9-11 /hour
