Job Title: Wilderness Trip Leader

Organization: Camp Kamaji

Organization Overview:  Camp Kamaji is a summer residential camp for girls located in northern Minnesota. They are currently hiring Wilderness Trip Leaders. This opportunity is geared towards students studying outdoor recreation, but all are welcome to apply. Currently interested in finding fun, responsible and qualified people to work at Camp Kamaji this summer. Wilderness Trip Leaders must be able to lead trips from two to eight days in length. Trips vary from local sites to the Boundary Waters of Canada. This position can be filled by women or men who are at least 21 years old. Experience with camping and canoeing required. We will provide training including CPR, Wilderness First Aid, and Lifeguard courses.

Details:

  • Summer employment, May 30th- August 11th
  • $2400 salary and additional travel compensation paid at the end of the employment period
  • Housing and meals provided
