Job Title: Horseback Trail Guide/Wrangler

Organization: Rockin’ M Ranch

Location: Alpine, WY

Duties: Horseback trail guide/wrangler needed for the 2022 Summer Season. Rockin’ M Ranch is a small guest ranch/horseback trail ride business in Alpine, Wyoming, 39 miles from Jackson Hole (6 hours from Laramie). The majority of the work will be guiding daily horseback rides, along with some maintenance including, fence building and repair, staining, yard/ranch work, etc. Some horse skills are preferred. A good work ethic, the ability to entertain people, and patience are critical to this job. A current first aide/c.p.r. course is a requirement prior to your arrival and can easily be obtained through an online course. You will be issued a guides’ license which requires that you have no major game and fish violations or felony convictions. A small cabin with shower and kitchen will be provided, which will be shared by a few people. A few meals are provided. 

Start/End dates: Mid May – late August

Salary/pay: Pay is $2000 per month 5 days per week and $2400, 6 days, depending on experience. Tips often range $100-$300 per day when in the peak season.
