Job Title: Accommodations Assistant & Dining Services Internship

Organization: VeeBar Guest Ranch

Organization Overview: The Vee Bar Guest Ranch is located 20 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming.  The ranch operates as a summer vacation destination for people from all over the US and Europe.  During their visit, guests spend a minimum of three nights (most spend 6 nights) and purchase an all-inclusive package.  The package includes lodging in one of nine guest cabins, three meals per day, and ranch activities that range from horseback riding to river tubing and much more. The Vee Bar crew is a combination of seasonal employees and full-time employees, since the ranch is open year-round.  During the summer months, the Vee Bar employees about 25 people.

Accommodations Assistant: Guests arrive on Sundays for their all-inclusive ranch packages.  Duties through the weekdays will include assisting guests with items they need such as fresh towels, condiments, etc.  Weekend duties will include thorough cleaning of all cabins, between guests’ visits.  Other duties will include cleaning of other buildings such as the lodge and saloon.  Accommodations assistants are responsible for the organization of the laundry room, keeping track of tasks that need done on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, and the overall guest experience related to the comfort of their accommodations. 

Dining Services: The Vee Bar is looking for an intern to assist with meal services (setting up and serving breakfast, lunch, and/or dinners), organize off-site meals (packing and transporting food for barbecues and other meals away from the main lodge), and more.  This person will work alongside a team of three or four other individuals to accomplish daily tasks, but may be working shifts on their own.

Start and End Dates: mid-May through late August, possibility to continue through fall
