Position Title: AmeriCorps VISTA Position

Organization: Family Promis of Albany County

Position Overview: This is an exciting opportunity that supports Family Promise’s mission of providing services and shelter to homeless families in Albany County, WY. The VISTA member will assist with increasing volunteer participation, creating flyers and graphics, help plan and develop a site for temporary shelter, improve existing record-keeping methods, data collection, and website maintenance. Your work as a VISTA will lead to the long-term sustainability of Family Promise, and make it so that family’s experiencing homelessness can transition to independent living.

Salary/pay: Biweekly allowance of $513.94, and choice of end of service education award ($6,345) or a cash stipend ($1,800)

Start and end dates: June 7- to June 6, 2022
