Job Title: Student Programming Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, and Graduate Assistant Positions

Marketing Coordinator: 

  • Work with professional and student staff to oversee the marketing and promotion of all SLCE programs and events.
  •  Continue the development of a comprehensive branding and marketing plan for SLCE.
  • Complete market research to better understand the needs of UW students, faculty/staff, and community partners.
  • Manage SLCE social media accounts.
  • Create a weekly SLCE electronic newsletter.
  • Write press releases for programs and events.
  • Update the SLCE website and monitor Google Analytics.
  • Be available to work occasional evenings and weekends for SLCE programs and events.
  • Attend SLCE/Center for Student Involvement & Leadership (CSIL) trainings and meetings.
  • Represent the SLCE Office in a positive manner and maintain good disciplinary standing with the University.
  • Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA

Student Programming Coordinator:

  • Work collaboratively with other SLCE Student Coordinators to plan and execute programs.
  • Co-Chair the SLCE Advisory Board with the other SLCE Student Coordinator
  • Be a resource to students, student organizations, faculty/staff, and community members regarding SLCE programs and events
  • Collaborate with Student Marketing Coordinator to create website, print, and social media materials that promote SLCE programs and events
  • Represent SLCE in multiple settings
  • Serve on university committees as appointed by supervisor
  • Attend all SLCE/CSIL trainings and meetings as directed
  • Represent the SLCE Office in a positive manner and maintain good disciplinary standing with the University
  • Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA

Graduate Assistant-Alternative Breaks:

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and assessment of the Alternative Breaks program.
  • Assist in the hiring, training, and advising of the Alternative Break Team Leaders
  • Co-teach Fundamentals of Alternative Break Leadership course offered to the Team Leaders
  • Assist with other SLCE programs such as The Big Event, Service Saturdays, the Good Mule and Pokes Vote
  • Be available to work occasional evenings and weekends for SLCE events/programs
  • Attend SLCE/Center for Student Involvement & Leadership (CSIL) trainings and meetings
